Ruched Top

This top, designed by Jennifer Laflamme, is inspired by Japanese work wear, especially by traditional farmer's clothing. The versatile wrap design allows ease of movement while accommodating different body shapes. Made from lightweight organic voile fabric, the top is perfect for warm weather as well as for layering during cooler months. Hand stitching on the ruched sleeves is inspired by traditional Shibori techniques, working with fabric and stitch to add shape to the garment - this is a simple stitch that will give an elastic finish to the sleeves.
